The structure of matter

This animation presents symbolic illustrations of molecules (H₂O), atoms, electrons, the nucleus, protons, and neutrons .  It also introduces thermal agitation, electrical neutrality and electrical charge, and the Periodic Table of the Elements first developed by Mendeleev.
Scale is  not respected ! The circular orbits of the electrons are a frequently used simplification that is  known to be incorrect.
